What Weeping Creek Valley is

Weeping Creek Valley is the first region after the Prologue. See our region order page for the broader sequence.

Game8's completion guide tracks bells as one of the collectible types in Weeping Creek Valley, and lists 23 entries for the region, including one that is still unnamed.

  • The Beginning
  • The Lady's Rift
  • First Meeting with Yu'er
  • Broken Puppet Valley
  • Red Thread Barrier
  • Rustblade Pavilion
  • Outpost Courtyard
  • Outpost
  • The Axemaster's Fall
  • The Axemaster's Holding Cell
  • Creek Valley Plains Entrance
  • Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base
  • Ruthless Archer Camp
  • Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor
  • Sha-Chi Tower Summit
  • Waterfall Bridge
  • Great Waterfall
  • Crimson Manor
  • Long Pillar Overlook
  • Weeping Creek Long Pillar
  • The Lady's Cave
  • Fresh Lily Fields

Game8’s twenty-third entry is listed only as "TBD!", leaving at least 22 named bells and one more the guide has not named yet.

Weapons and Phantom Edges obtainable here

Game8 labels this category as 7 entries but lists 9. PowerPyx also gives Weeping Creek Valley 7 Weapons & Phantom Edges, corroborating the category number; the 9 listed entries need re-examination. The 9 entries and their acquisition methods are reproduced below.

  • Sanguine — the starting item.
  • Jagged Steel — defeat the Frenzied Brute mini-boss near the Rusted Pavilion bell.
  • Scarlet Wraithblade — defeat Hua in Weeping Creek Valley.
  • Sanguine Reach — from the weapons rack behind the Forge in the Outpost.
  • Sanguine Twin — from a weapons rack at the foot of a waterfall, next to the ladder leading to the First Meeting with Yu'er bell.
  • Dread Axe — defeat Peng Meng, the Axemaster; past the Outpost bell and just before The Axemaster's Fall bell.
  • Wooden Sanguine — unlocked after the Prologue.
  • Feather Bow — complete the Purge the Sect quest in Weeping Creek Valley.
  • Hunter's Chain Sickle — defeat The Hunt during your second encounter in Weeping Creek Valley.

Game8 and PowerPyx both give 7 Weapons & Phantom Edges. This does not establish which two of Game8's 9 listed entries are excluded.

Accessories and medicines

Game8 labels accessories and medicines as 11 entries but lists 10; the 10 listed entries follow. PowerPyx states 12 Accessories & Medicines, with one not counting toward the progress bar. The disagreement remains unresolved.

  • Battle Wraps — obtained by killing Gold Mask near the Red Thread Barrier bell.
  • Hunter's Insight — dropped by an enemy you face as you swing from the Lady's Rift bell toward the Broken Puppet Valley bell.
  • Lingran's Pendant — use the Hunter's Chain Sickle at the back of the first area and open the chest.
  • Focus Pill — in a chest at the end of a cliff north of the Axemaster's Holding Cells.
  • Counterstrike Bracers — defeat the Gold-Masked One during your first encounter in Weeping Creek Valley.
  • Reflex Device — looted from the furnace in the Sha-Chi Tower Base; requires the Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank from the upper levels first.
  • Medicine Case — reward for finishing Yu'er's quest "Apprentice Healer".
  • Ancient Armor Fragment — from a tree near the Crimson Manor.
  • Token of Pursuit — from a chest on the ramp toward the Ruthless Archer Camp bell.
  • Vessel Restorative — from a chest inside the large tower during the "Deep Into the Valley" side quest.

Sha-Chi Amber Shards

Game8 labels this category as 4 fragments but lists 3 acquisition locations.

  • In a chest in a ravine south of the Broken Puppet Valley bell.
  • Past the Rustblade Pavilion bell, follow the cliffside to a peculiar set of crates; enemies ambush you and one drops it.
  • Drops from the last enemy you defeat in the secured area past the Outpost bell.

What Game8 has not documented for this region

PowerPyx's collectibles guide reports 564 collectibles: 161 Bells, 42 Weapons & Phantom Edges, 80 Accessories & Medicine, 13 Challenge Locations, 40 Sha-Chi Amber Shards, 40 Blackstone Shards, 129 Memory Flowers, 43 Tempering Materials and 16 Treasures. These nine category totals add to 564. It lists 30 Side Tales separately.[4]

Game8's counts for Challenge Locations (1), Blackstone Shards (4) and Memory Flowers (1) match PowerPyx's counts of 1, 4 and 1. Game8 provides no locations for these three categories: the gap is missing locations, not an undercount. We publish no per-location breakdown for these categories because we have not independently verified their locations.

PowerPyx lists 23 Bells, 7 Weapons & Phantom Edges, 12 Accessories & Medicines (one of which does not count toward the progress bar), 1 Challenge Location, 4 Sha-Chi Amber Shards, 4 Blackstone Shards, 1 Memory Flower, 0 Treasures, 2 Tempering Materials and 6 Side Tales for Weeping Creek Valley. Its stated 60 Collectible Locations includes those 6 Side Tales.[2]

How many regions are there?

PowerPyx's Trophy Guide & Roadmap describes a mostly linear route through nine regions. It labels Weeping Creek Valley as Region 1, Crimson Forest as Region 2, Village of Lu as Region 3, Mirage Estate as Region 8 and Mount Soulrend as Region 9. PowerPyx writes Weeping Valley Creek; that word order is the outlier, and this site uses Weeping Creek Valley.[3]

PowerPyx's collectibles guide describes eight regions and labels its eighth area Mirage Estate (Pangzhen). Its Pangzhen and Mirage Estate pages explain that Mirage Estate sits within Pangzhen: map progress is combined, while Archive entries are separate. The eight-region framing folds Mirage Estate into Pangzhen; the roadmap numbers it separately as Region 8. These are different grouping conventions.[4]

RPS's 61-entry boss list spans nine post-prologue regions: Weeping Creek Valley, Crimson Forest, Village of Lu, Pangzhen, Mandate Encampment, Meigu Lake, Mountain of Imprisonment, Mirage Estate and Mount Soulrend.[7]

Game8's region index links six names: Weeping Creek Valley, Crimson Forest, Village of Lu, Meigu Lake, Crimson Manor and Mountain of Imprisonment. This is a six-link index, not a game-wide count. Crimson Manor does not share a name with one of the nine roadmap regions, so we do not assert a one-to-one mapping for every link.

Our reading of PowerPyx and RPS: nine numbered regions is the best-supported count for progression, with Mirage Estate nested inside Pangzhen. Game8's six-link index has narrower coverage and different naming; it does not establish six exact matches to the nine numbered regions.[3]

We have not played the game. This page compiles Game8’s location data, checked on 1 November 2026, and reproduces its acquisition methods without adding our own. It is not a substitute for an interactive map.
